Bsnl Data One Internet is cool!

Finally got the data one connection. They were beta testing in our district last 2 days. Bsnl offcials came to my home and setup the connection. The modem is from Huawei corp. Sleek design and light weight modem. Matching the table in color. This comes with a ADSL splitter to split data and voice. Now I have to re-arrange internal wiring so that telephones will use only voice signal. Perhaps I have to connect the splitter at start of the phone line.

My CDMA modem will be useless now. Probably I will use it as a torch. ;) [ Hmm.... $100 worth torch... :D ]

    i reinstalled my operating system ….how can i setup my home BSNL connection…. what is procedure to follow….

    Hi Navin,

    You don’t have to do anything with OS for BSNL data one to work. Just plug-in the ethernet cable as usual and you will be connected automatically. :)
