I myself have Creative Inspire T6060 so I know what you are talking about. However, did you check out Logitech Z5500. Monstrous in one word especially the bass. But if its music and the odd movie/game on the PC then I have found Audioengine A5 to be the best. Really great.

Lucas,

X-Fi cards have a THX setup console, where you can configure the distance between speakers and you. :)

Why on earth are you using PC speakers as your home cinema speakers? Well, they are THX, but only THX certified if you are 30cm - 1 meter apart from the speakers. You should at least use the THX - Select or Select 2 if you are going to build yourself a cinema. (Read info at the thx site)
