Done messing up Wp design. ;-)

Yep, I managed to build a template of my default design.It took only 4 hrs to implement. But before that I was reading all WP template tutorials over the net.

Among them these are found to be great.

Read the tutorials in this order:

  • WP is not PHP
  • Urban Girrafe
  • WP theme cheat sheet

    • Since my intention was to use WP as a CMS, i thought using comments section is a useless idea, hence removed the comments section completely. And also removed the archive section on sidebar. Remember this is a custom design and its use is to display news. Thus no need of other geeky features. :)

    Inspired by this effort, I plan to make a stand alone template with same ‘default’ design.
