Moving to 1 Mbps
Finally the broadband plan upgraded and now we are on 1Mbps. If you don’t know what 1Mbps is check this maths :
1024 kilo bits / sec = 128 Kilo Bytes / Sec
This means every 10 seconds you can get 1.25 MB. Is that high speed ? No, but being in this part of the world, this is a great thing.
I have heard the South Korea is the cheapest destination for Internet bandwidth.
More maths :
Suppose you have 256kbps connection and you are downloading full day and the same things can be downloaded in 6hrs with 1Mbps connection.
What this means ?
Faster downloads
Save Electricity
Save Computer Wear & Tear.
And above all faster turnaround time.
